FORTHCOMING EVENTS
I’m about to announce a series of early-evening seminars in Bristol, as part of the process of launching my coaching business. They will mostly focus on the topics in which I most like to coach: presentation skills, retirement (aka reinvention) and personal finance. However, the agenda will be decided by those who show up! (democracy in action)
Watch this space, as they say, for details of dates and venue.
RECENT EVENTS
Book Launch (9 July 2015)
Well, it’s happened! And I’m glad to say it went well. We had a good attendance; and with the help of my author and journalist friend Debbie Young we ran it as an interview.
Watch this space for media; a couple of kind friends shot video, which I will be posting soon.
Charity Concert (11 July 2015)
I helped to organise a benefit concert in aid of St Peter’s Hospice, Bristol, at Red Maids’ Junior School, Westbury-on-Trym, in memory of a very dear friend, John Horth, who died at the hospice.
The wonderful people at St Peter’s do such great work they deserve all the support they can get.
The concert featured Jim Reynolds, Dave Griffiths, Hilary Pavey, Lee McCrory, Eddie Denny and my daughter Madeleine MacMahon. We had a capacity audience and so far have slightly exceeded our fundraising target by raising nearly £1900 for the hospice, through ticket sales and bar profits. Our thanks are due to all the musicians for giving of their time and talent free.
